The seller adds: You are bidding on a coleman model 200a dated 6-52.   this is the black band variety made only in 1952 and early 1953.   this is a pretty nice one.   way nicer than average.   no dents.   the paint is still in good shape.   no rust on the collar or burner frame.   has the original green sunrise logo globe.   the vent has some stains that i am sure will clean off.   there is some chipping under the lip of the top edge.   it looks more like the factory missed a spot of porcelain rather than a chip but i will let you be the judge of that.   it doesn’t show when displayed.   a collection worthy lantern for sure.   all i did was wipe the dust off of it.    i have not tested this lantern in any way but i see no reason why it could not be made to work as intended.   I have many other old coleman parts for sale so please check out my other auctions and my website oldcolemanparts. please ask questions early so i have time to answer them.   don’t wait till the last minute.

The seller adds: You are bidding on an extremely nice red coleman 200a lantern made in the usa may of 1956. in it’s original box with paperwork. As you can see there is not much of the box left but it did a wonderful job preserving this old lantern. . A classic coleman design, this wonderful lantern is ready for use or display. ventilator is nearly flawless. . . this one is untested but as you can see it wouldn’t take much to get her lit. . paint is bright and shiny. The seller adds: 1953 coleman 200a. sunshine of the night.   made in usa. 2/1953 . . i honestly would say it has never been fired or fueled. i believe this was this first or second year of production for the 200a.    pyrex globe. ” coleman” is printed in green on one side and pyrex is printed in green on the other side of the globe. The seller adds: Nice vintage “coleman”  200a lantern from 1952 it is marked;  8   52    on the bottom the globe is also very nice and it is marked coleman this is a single mantel lantern.     it does need a new screen or mantle i have not tested this lantern, but except for the screen, everything else seems to be in goode working order. The lantern is in good used condition with just some scuffs and scratchs as the pictures show this lantern will be insured because of the globe.    the cost will be included in the shipping cost.
